The apology was taken after the director of public jerking by stating that he has great sympathy for Adolf Hitler, leader of the Nazis during the Second World War.
Peter Aalbaek Jensen, founder of the company 'called Zentropa, with heartened voice regret. "[We] apologize to all audiences, business partners, employees and agencies are burdened with the statement [von Trier]," he said as quoted from the pages of The New York Times.
Jensen founded Zentropa with von Trier in 1992.
Previously, von Trier sparked outrage many people on Wednesday after revealing his mind about Hitler when sitting in a press conference after announcing the latest work titled "Melancholia." "[Hitler] did have a bad effect. However, I know he's in that bunker until the end of his life," he said, adding that he had, "impartial Second World War, not against Jews, not even counterproductive Susanne Bier."
Susanne Bier is a Jewish filmmaker. He was becoming famous in the world of film after producing works of "After the Wedding" and "In a Better World." The last film is called a production by Zentropa.
Meanwhile, Hitler believed to have committed suicide with his girlfriend, Eva Braun, in a bunker protecting the city of Berlin as Russian troops, known as the Red Army entered the area.
Lars Von Trier had time to regret asking for his comments. But the confusion already appeared and the top brass decided to forbid the festival to participate in the annual celebration.
